Born in Trinidad and Tobago, at an early age I was exposed to the beauties of air travel. I was mesmerized by the ability of flight when I took my first journey from Trinidad to Tobago aboard a De Havilland Dash 8 aircraft. This sparked my interests for Aviation and by extension Engineering, which was only solidified with the many creations and contraptions I built using LEGOs. As I grew older, I was introduced to the Sci-fi genre with Star Trek and Star Wars being my favorites. This inspired me to expand my horizon and propel me upwards into the stars and the vast expanding universe.

My goals and life decisions have been shaped by these very passions. I am currently pursuing a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of the West Indies, specializing in Controls, Computer and Electronic Systems. I plan to pursue a Masters in Aerospace Engineering, which would allow me to contribute to the engineering community. Inevitably, the human race will expand and explore out into the solar system, becoming a multi-planetary species. I wish to play a significant role in that expansion by advancing currently available technology and researching new technologies to aid humankind.
